I like this story. The famous airplane builder, Tony Bingelis was stationed in the Armed Services in Japan when he was a young man. The apartments in Japan are very small because of the expense and also because the Japanese people are very small in stature.
He built most of an all-wood Emeraude homebuilt airplane in his clothing closet!
